A Medicare Supplement Insurance policy helps pay some of the health care costs that Original Medicare doesn't cover, like deductible, copayments, and coinsurance.  Some of our bigger companies that we represent are Aetna, Cigna, Bankers Fidelity, Mutual of Omaha, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Americo, etc.

Previously referred to as Obamacare or Affordable Care Act policies, this offers private health insurance via online marketplaces called exchanges, often with a very substantial federal subsidy to help pay the premiums or you could buy off exchange as well without using federally funded subsidies.  At this time, HIA only offers these types of plans in the state of Illinois with our primary carrier being Blue Cross Blue Shield of Illinois.

In health insurance, a lump sum cancer policy provides a cash benefit to help cover medical and travel expenses if you are diagnosed with cancer, helping to ease financial issues while you focus on getting well. The insured can spend the money when, where and how it is needed, with no stipulations, even to cover insurance deductibles, transportation expenses, lodging, or loss of income for just paying the monthly bills. 

Long Term Care is insurance that will pay for assisted living, nursing home care or home health care in the event you are unable to care for yourself because of a chronic condition or disability. According to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services 70% of all seniors will use some form of long-term care in the years ahead. 

A key component of our health insurance services, final expense insurance or burial life insurance is designed to cover the bills that your loved ones will face after your death. These costs will include medical bills and funeral expenses.  We have a lot of different companies we use in for life insurance. We also have no health questions final expenses plans through Gerber Life for those who think they cannot get life insurance because of their health.
